COMMISSION FLEXâ not only allows you more flexibility, it provides options in the selling of your home not offered by most agents today.
6% first $100,000, 3% on balance. This is the most common structure in B.C. today, but it doesn’t need to be the only one. Owner’s property sells through a Buyer garnered through the MLS. Another Agent represents the Buyer. Listing Agent Commission is 3% / 1.5% and the Selling Agent’s Commission is 3% / 1.5%.
4% Owner’s property sells through a Buyer procured through the MLS. Another Agent represents the Buyer. Here the Total Commission is 4% but the Selling Agent’s Commission is 3.5% on first $100,000 and 2% on the balance.
3% We find the Buyer and write the contract. There is no other Agent Involved (prior to you listing your property). Total commission to be 3%.
1% You the owner find the Buyer and there is no other Agent involved. Listing Agent will write the contract, and process it through closing for Owner. Total Commission to be 1%.
